Families and friends often want to help, but there may be barriers. Adult children may be sandwiched between their parents, their careers and their own family obligations. For family members living far away, the barriers may be geographic. Some seniors have no surviving children or their children are seniors themselves. If illness or death precipitated the move, the family may already be drained emotionally and physically. People age 85 and above are the fasted growing segment of the U.S. population. At the same time, social changes such as more women working full time have made it increasingly difficult for family caregivers to provide all of the support needed for these transitions.

Deborah Trocki

Deborah Trocki is the owner and founder of Life Sizing Your Home. Prior to beginning the company in 2007, Deborah founded and operated Signs Now and Designer Glass. Before owning and operating both businesses, she was the Program Coordinator at the Erie Senior Citizens Center. Deborah is a graduate of Gannon University with a B.S. in Mental Health Counseling.

Currently Deborah is a nationally Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist (CRTS).

CRTS manage all aspects of 55+ home transitions. Life Sizing Your Home provides a single point of contact for our senior clients, their caregivers and housing administrators throughout the relocation process.

Deborah is also a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers, The Independent Council on Aging, The Erie Small Business Alliance, Erie Regional Chamber & Growth Partnership and serves on the board of the Women's Roundtable.
